Role Overview:
As the WFS Regional Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in promoting Workforce Skills Qualifications, products, and services in the south/ western India region. Collaborating with local teams and colleagues across markets, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, managing, and growing key accounts in the WFS segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote Pearson’s Vocational Qualifications (BTEC, Pearson Assured) and services to Vocational Education Institutions in the assigned territory.
Provide comprehensive support, advisory, training, and development services to drive sales growth.
Achieve targeted growth by maintaining existing business and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Collaborate with other account managers to maximize the impact of Pearson's products and services.
Utilize Sales Force on a daily basis to build an effective sales pipeline and analyze critical business drivers.
Develop relationships across all levels of customer organizations to identify sales opportunities and drive plan objectives.
Establish trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders in government, non-government organizations, and vocational institutions.
Maintain regular communication and conduct annual business reviews with assigned key accounts.
Stay proactively informed about industry and customer-specific issues.
Qualifications:
Proven experience of 7-10 years in sales, business development, or account management.
Familiarity with vocational education and workforce development.
Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop strategic sales plans.
Self-motivated with a passion for education and skill development.
