Job Description: Pearson India Education Services Private Ltd is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to join our Test Preparation Division in Karnataka, based out of Bangalore. We are looking for an individual who is not only well-qualified but also possesses the determination and skills required to drive sales in the competitive Test Preparation industry.
As a Test Prep Sales Manager at Pearson Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for reaching all the K12 segment schools to generate business for Foundation, JEE & NEET portfolio. Your primary focus will be providing samples and adopting titles at Institutions, Submitting the price and negotiating for order closures, driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance the success of our test preparation products. Candidates from existing K12 companies will be given higher preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect Identification: Identify potential customers and market segments for our Test Preparation products and services.
Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, educators, and influencers in the education sector.
Retailer and Distributor Management: Collaborate with retailers and distributors to expand our market presence and ensure effective distribution of our products.
Sales Development: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue and achieve targets.
Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the value of our offerings to clients.
Data Management: Utilize MS Excel, MS Word, and other tools for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
E-mail Etiquettes: Maintain professional e-mail communication with clients, colleagues, and partners.
Qualifications & Experience :
MBA graduation with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Test Preparation / K12 industry is essential.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other relevant software.
Willingness to explore new opportunities and expand the product portfolio.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Knowledge of the education sector and the competitive landscape is a plus.
