Pearson Marketing Manager - Global IT in United States
Summary:
We are Pearson VUE, the license and certification testing arm of Pearson -the world’s learning company. Our in-house marketing agency is seeking a Marketing Manager to work closely with our largest IT accounts to lead marketing communications planning, development and execution of campaigns designed to grow certification exam volume.
In this role, you will work closely with our largest IT accounts such as Microsoft, CompTIA, AWS and PMI. You are the backbone of the team overseeing the creative process from briefing to presentation, production and implementation. Leading the majority of client calls and meetings, the day-to-day project and account management is in your hands.
Location: Remote only within the United States
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning – Lead development of strategic communications plans to achieve growth goals
Develop communications strategies, timing and budgets
Work with our media planners to determine the best media mix
Present strategic plans to clients for buy-in and approvals
Collaborate with Business Development Managers and VUE Marketing leadership to ensure campaign plans meet business objectives
Account Management -- Lead accounts to ensure overall contract and fiscal performance
Function as primary day-to-day marketing lead on assigned accounts
Manage campaigns, digital implementation and tracking
Present creative concepts and results to clients
Direct external agencies and internal teams in the development of campaigns
Coordinate measurement and reporting to clients and stakeholders
Serve as liaison with various Pearson departments to ensure customer commitments that are outside of those areas covered by marketing are met
Write creative briefs
Qualifications:
5+ years of agency experience (preferred) or related communication industry experience that provides an understanding of advertising, marketing, paid and social media, creative, production, research, direct marketing, etc.
BA required with a preferred concentration in advertising, communications or marketing
Strong presentation and writing skills
Strong listening and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker
Management and team-building skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite or Mac equivalent.
Ability to travel as needed
Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $85-90k.
